TEAM MICHAEL “The Iceman” GALLO ALL THE WAY!!!
Michael & Mia
Whoa… holy hell, this book is amazeballs! I was hooked from word one and kept my eyes glued to the pages at every turn! I have to say right off the bat, this book did NOT go where I thought it would… it went so much further! There are so many magnificent stories being told here, that I literally felt like I was part of this vast family and all that went with them. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of the Gallo family?? Hunky men, feisty chicks, and money to boot! It’s not a dark read, but definitely not light hearted either.
Michael Gallo is my favorite Gallo so far, but I’m kind of a book boyfriend whore so, I’m sure once I read the next installment, I’ll jump right into bed with that hunk-a-hunk-a Gallo! Teeheehee!! Seriously folks, Michael is everything you think you need, but are afraid to want. He’s sexy, hilarious, smart, built to the hilt, and his heart is the size of Texas for Godsakes! He seems to be dealt a bit a bad luck in the chick dept. momentarily, but takes it in stride. Now Mia… OMG Mia! I love this chick with my “whore” heart! She so completed this story. She made even the worst circumstances better. I just love a female lead who’s smart, hard-hitting, and independent. She fit the bill for me and I’m not sure how Chelle will top that one… Good luck!
Great supporting characters in those beautiful Gallos. I just love Izzy… she seems like she could be my twin… not in appearance of course, Hello… Me: Polish Izzy: Whopp, not likely. What I mean is she’s tough, she swears, and she makes all her brother’s biz her biz… I love it! Now even though she was our villain in this taunting tale, Tammy was superb! She made Jennifer Jason Leigh in “Single White Female” look like Mother Theresa! That bitch had me all tied up in knots for Christ sakes, but certainly made the story that much better with all her craziness! Loved the cameos from all the Gallo crew…. sheesh, I didn’t really realize how much I missed them till I got another taste of them.
Chelle created plenty of tension leading up to the climax and finally the resolution. It’s 291 pages long and flowed very nicely. The pacing is perfect, the highs and lows are phenomenal and will have you “white knuckling” it most of the way. It was practically effortless to read. One thing I love about Chelle Bliss and her books are that they’re real. They’re about real life situations that us as readers can totally relate to. I would expect to meet someone like Michael, Mia, or even Joey at my local grocery story… but I’m sure I’d be drooling all over myself too! Bwahahahaha… Great book, Great Author, and I’m looking forward to your next Men of Inked book!
5 Freakin’ Stars!!!
