☩REVIEW & TOUR: Silver Bastard by Joanna Wylde☩

Meet Puck & Becca in SILVER BASTARD!

First in the new Silver Valley series from the New York Times bestselling author of the Reapers Motorcycle Club Novels.

Fourteen months. For fourteen months, Puck Redhouse sat in a cell and kept his mouth shut, protecting the Silver Bastards MC from their enemies. Then he was free and it was time for his reward–full membership in the club, along with a party to celebrate. That’s when he saw Becca Jones for the first time and set everything in motion. Before the night ended he’d violated his parole and stolen her away from everything she knew.

Five years. It was five years ago that Puck destroyed Becca and saved her all in one night. She’s been terrified of him ever since, but she’s even more terrified of the monsters he still protects her from… But Becca refuses to let fear control her. She’s living her life and moving forward, until she gets a phone call from the past she can’t ignore. She has to go back, and there’s only one man she can trust to go with her–the ex-con biker who rescued her once before.

Puck will help her again, but this time it’ll be on his terms. No more lies, no more tears, and no more holding back what he really wants…

Silver Bastard by Joanna Wilde
Puck & Becca

Joanna Wylde is back for the attack with her newest release in a brand new series. The Silver Bastards are rude and crude and hot as hell. This book deals with many shady subjects so if you’re a prude and can’t handle explicit language, strong sexual content, and some major offensive illegal acts, then put this book down and move on to something more foo foo… If you’re like me and can’t get enough of that shit… stay tuned… you’re gonna wanna read this one… more than once!!!!

Puck Redhouse is a criminal in the truest sense of the word. Just getting out of jail, serving time to protect his club, he’s definitely a Silver Bastard through and through. At first it seems to be all business but of course there’s always time for a blowjob and maybe a quick fuck. He seems to have a level head on his shoulders and I’m fairly certain he knows right from wrong but when put in a sticky situation he does what he thinks is right. We may not all agree with that but I believe in his heart he felt he was doing the right thing.

Becca Jones is just a baby forced into a life that would have killed most of us. She grew up knowing nothing but the club. Her friends were whores, her family seemed more like an employer, and any chance for an escape seemed unfeasible. Although forced to live this life and all that it entailed… she stayed strong for herself and I believe a little bit for the asshole my mother that offered her daughter up like a sacrificial lamb. Quite honestly I would have left skid marks trying to get away from that evil bitch of a mother, but not Becca, she still held on to the reality that this was her mother and this was her life. Ugh!

Excellent supporting cast. Boonie and the guys from Silver Bastards MC were as upstanding as they can be being in a motorcycle club and all. I enjoyed the cameos from all the Reapers… Picnic, Ruger, Horse, and Painter. Brought back tremendous memories. Of course no story is complete without an evil villain. Thanks to Teeny and Becca’s mother for filling those shoes. I can’t quite grasp the fact that these two would do half the things they did but I guess evil knows no boundaries.

There’s a lot going on in this story. Definitely not just what revolves around Puck and Becca, but a ton of motorcycle club business and the surrounding town of Callup, Idaho. I chuckled, I wept, and I even through my Kindle down at one point. The pacing is outstanding. The dialogue flows very naturally or as natural as it can be with alpha male motorcycle club dudes talking. Bwahahaha!! It was effortless to read and the highs and lows we’re full of much anxiety that led to a beautiful and amusing conclusion.

I have one rant that I would like to talk about. When I check into a book I usually read the one star reviews first to see what people don’t like about it. When I checked Silver Bastards out there were 2 one star reviews and I clicked on the first one and read a review full of spoilers. not cool! I clicked on this reviewers profile to see what else she reviewed. I think I may have had to pan down for 5 minutes before I even found another review that wasn’t a one star. Seems like she hates reading… maybe she should stop! Every review this person gave had the word “doormat” in it. REALLY… every single review you refer to the book or the characters as doormats? First of all you should have labeled your review with **spoiler alert** at the top and second of all, come up with a new word because quite honestly I think you’re the “doormat.” Rant over…

5 Stars… Enjoy the book… It’s phenomenal
