“He owns you. Whatever he tells you to do you do”.

One year. No future. A past that won’t go away.

Lennox “Nox” Demetri broke his own rule by making a deal. It may not have been directly with the devil, but that doesn’t mean Satan himself isn’t watching. Was it fate that brought Charli into his life and his bed? What will happen when rules are broken and secrets are revealed?

“New rules…my rules.”

Alex “Charli” Collins found pleasure with Nox like she’d never known. That was before she knew his last name. Now that Infidelity is involved and the rules have changed, what will result when real life and fantasy collide?

Is it really cheating if you’re doing it to yourself?

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a sexy, new dominant hero who knows what he wants and a strong-willed heroine who has plans of her own. With classic Aleatha Romig twists, turns, deceptions, and devotions, the depth of this new, epic dark romance reaches new levels and will have readers swooning one minute and screaming the next.

5 Stars

Okay so this is the second installment in the Infidelity Series. Let me tell you this right now, it is still a cliffy and will rattle your cage with every turn of the page. It is still insanely twisted and as I predicted does get a tad bit darker. In this installment Alex now has a one year contract with Nox basically being her owner. More truths are revealed, more emotion is portrayed, and at the end I am still reeling from this entire series so far.

Nox starts out incredibly bossy, extremely crabby, and pretty much an enormous dickhead. I know exactly what he’s doing, but does he? Does he know what his actions will cause? Does he know that everything he does and says is slowly killing me (and Alex) and slowly shattering my heart into pieces? As his points are made and more information revealed, he does start to swoon me, a little. Only time will tell if I will completely fall in love with him again.

Alex really stepped in it this time! She signed up at Infidelity and low and behold the devil brought her contract. I wish I could say without a doubt that I loved this woman with my whole heart, but at this point in time I merely like her. The fact that she is growing a backbone is making me like her a whole lot more, but I feel there is so much more she can be doing to shake that awful family of hers, but she’s not. I do like the fact that she doesn’t cave in when it comes to Nox. That shit is absolutely hilarious.

The supporting character cast is pretty much the same as in the first book with a few additions. Alex’s mother, Adelaide is still a complete asshole, however learning more about her past and background is making me hate her a little less. With her I feel she could have done more to protect herself and her daughter but chose not to. I wouldn’t actually say she chose the easy road, but she never really chose a road, it was chosen for her and she stuck with it. Shame on her! Bryce is still a dick and I’m waiting patiently for a piano to fall on him! We are introduced to Nox’s father Oren in this installment, and at this point in time I’m on the fence. I don’t know if I should like him, love him, or hate him, we’ll see.

So to wrap this up it did get a little darker than its predecessor, but still not uber dark. The dialogue still flows with ease and still feels extremely natural. I still love these characters and how they make me feel whether it’s good or bad they are written extremely well. There is a ton of tension in this installment that just makes that ending a.k.a. cliffy that much better. I’m totally looking forward to the next book.

Aleatha Romig immerses the reader into a world of intrigue and romance, suspense and mystery. I was immediately caught up in the story that had me guessing and addicted from page one. The sexual tension between Nox and Charli is heightened and their relationship deepened as the layers of betrayal are revealed chapter after chapter. Cunning is beautifully written and is a smashing addition to the Infidelity Series. ~New York Times Bestselling author S.L. Scott.

Just when you came to terms with the twists of Betrayal, you’re sucker punched and sent on another rollercoaster ride of emotions in Cunning. ~ USA Today Bestselling author Rebecca Shea

Betrayal was the introduction and Cunning is the first glimpse behind the curtain with intrigue from all avenues. Nox is still dirty and delicious but this is more than just a romance….it’s addictive. ~New York Times Bestselling author Pepper Winters

Brilliant with a gripping story, sure to stir your every emotion. One of my top favorites, and with my head bowed to my feet, Nox moves Anthony from his pedestal. I love him! (Sorry Tony) ~ Bestselling author Jettie Woodruff

One week. No future. No past. No more.

Alexandria Collins has one week to live carefree—no ghosts of her past or pressures of her future haunting her. Reinventing herself as “Charli,” she is knocked off her feet by a sexy, mysterious man who brings her pleasure like she never imagined. With her heart at stake, she forgets that decisions made in the dark of night reappear in the bright light of day.

“Some of my tastes are unique. They aren’t for everyone. I understand that.”

Lennox “Nox” Demetri is wealthy, confident, and decisive—he knows what he wants. From the first time he sees Charli at an exclusive resort, he knows he wants her. Although he is usually the one to make the rules, together they agree on one:

One week. No more.

When betrayal comes from those closest to Alexandria, she must decide how far she is willing to go to survive. Choices are not always easy, especially when they involve the heart, body, and soul. After all, Infidelity is a business, and some rules are meant to be broken.
