Cover Re-Reveal: Reaper’s Property by Joanna Wylde

Reaper’s Property by Joanna Wylde has a NEW COVER!

Meet Horse & Marie for ONLY $3.99 (normally $7.99)

Author’s Note: This book was originally released through a small publisher in 2013. This independent edition has been lightly edited, and contains a bonus short, “Sticky Sweet” (originally published on the author’s website) and a Q&A with the author.

Marie doesn’t need a complication like Horse. The massive, tattooed, badass biker who shows up at her brother’s house one afternoon doesn’t agree. He wants Marie on his bike and in his bed. Now.

But Marie just left her abusive jerk of an ex-husband and she’s not looking for a new man. Especially one like Horse—she doesn’t know his real name or where he lives, she’s ninety percent certain he’s a criminal and that the “business” he talks with her brother isn’t website design. She needs him out of her life, which would be a snap if he’d just stop giving her mind-blowing orgasms.

Horse is part of the Reapers Motorcycle Club, and when he wants something, he takes it. What he wants is Marie, but she’s not interested in becoming “property of”.

Then her brother steals from the club. Marie can save him by giving Horse what he wants—at home, in public, on his bike… If she’s a very, very good girl, she’ll get lots more of those orgasms only he can offer, and he’ll let her brother live.

Reaper’s Property by Joanna Wylde
Horse & Marie

I was told by my bestie Lori that if I already had read and liked Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan, that I should read this book… well well well… Lori hit the nail on the head once again… although this book is not as sinister and hard to swallow as Undeniable, it runs along the same lines as it in the characteristics of Motorcycle clubs, bad boys, and slutty girls!!! There are many different dark angles this book takes from drugs, betrayal, roughness, kidnapping, death, and just plain old drama! There is a lot of use of the “Cee U Next Tuesday” word and others like it, so if that offends you, don’t read this book, if it excites you… get yo ass on it now!! It’s definitely not for the faint of heart… if you’re looking for a light read, keep looking… this book touches on some sensitive subjects which in turn make this story one of the best I’ve read this year.

Marie is one of those characters that I had diverse emotions about throughout the entire book… at times I felt sorry for her and then 10 pages later I wanted to beat the shit out of her… She’s really a good person, a great friend, an awesome sister, an excellent daughter, and by far the BEST “Old Lady,” however, she seemed to have a hard time putting trust where trust was warranted… that being said, Horse was and is a jackwagon… He definitely rubbed me the wrong and right way, but for all the shit he did and said… He really is a good guy… In a bad boy alpha male sort of way!!!! LOL!! There were great villains and supporting characters abound such as… Max, Jeff, Picnic, Em, Darcy, and too many more to mention. As a whole, these characters worked very well together and I wouldn’t mind seeing a sequel to this book as there are sooo many unattached, unmarried, and uncommitted bad boy’s at the Reaper’s armory!!

I found myself not wanting to put my kindle down EVER while reading this… took it with me everywhere… even inside a water park (daring I know)!!! 😉 It was 264 (kindle version) pages long and know this… there is so much turmoil and angst packed into those 264 pages, you actually feel like you’ve just read around 350 pages instead… Don’t know how Joanna did it, but there was so much element, so much feeling, and so many highs and lows to keep me glued from cover to cover!!!
