Putting an end to me.
Contemporary Romance Duet: Book 1
I think I may have missed some books here and there because I wasn’t aware that these connected to the good old boys but I was pleasantly surprised. This story opens with such a heart-wrenching prologue but I was almost afraid to continue reading. But read on I did and holy freaking hell this story was fantastic.
Aiden doesn’t play much of a role in the current story. We mostly see the bulk of him in his growing-up years but it does lay the ground work for the man he has become. The shrewd, rude, and disconnected shell of a man.
Bailey also only shows up in the book basically in her growing up years, but something tells me the shits about to hit the fan with her.
Normally this is where I talked about the supporting character cast but Camilla is not a supporting character, at least not to me. She plays a huge, important role in the lives of some very important children. There’s a really good story there with her and I can’t wait to find out where it goes.
So to wrap this up, the pacing is pretty good and the storyline is immense. M. Robinson really knows how to scoop your heart out with an ice pick and feed it to you. Looking forward to the next installment!
