Holy hell! This debut novel from Alex Wolf is outstanding! He takes an age old subject of an unmentionable romance and puts a fascinating spin on it! The way these two characters and their completely diverse worlds collide is nothing short of magnificent.
Kristen seems to be struggling with her new life, new schedule, and new friends. The party scene seems inviting, but the nightlife is catching up with her. Late for her first Journalism class, she finds herself besieged by her new sexier than sin professor. Oh boy, this could pose a problem, or not!
Grant is a straight shooter; a man’s man, and, well, a man in general. He’d have to be blind not to notice his intriguing and stimulating new student. Although he knows what should be done, it’s not exactly what he does. Oh God, the dirty talk and the discipline, God help me!!
The supporting character cast is minor but noteworthy. Kristen’s dorm-mate Stefani is fairly pleasant. She’s seems to have Kristen’s best interest at heart and turns into quite a good friend.
So, being that this is Mr. Wolf’s first novel, I think he brought to life a very persuasive story. The characters are relatable and commanding. The dialogue flows with efficiency and the tension leading up to the climax was emotional and exciting. The pacing was swift and it was effortless to read. I thoroughly adored my time with these characters.
